A little studio experiment

Even though it’s hardly my cup of tea, it never hurts to broaden your horizons. So when I got the chance to get into a studio, I took it. So here is the result of an experiment in studio photography. A classic still life, but with a healthy fat free twist.

This shot was made with my old rangefinder (canonet 28) using the original Canolite D flash.

Photo’s at concerts

Sometimes it can be rewarding to take your camera with you when you visit a concert, as long as you don’t end up in a moshpit, drop your camera or have beer spilled over it.

A tiny bit of Paris

Three shots I made in Paris.

Imagine a city that has it all. A city that has seen times of great prosperity, and times of great despair. From the glory days of being the center of art in the world to having German tanks roll down the Champs Élyssées. Paris, to me it remains one the most inspiring cities in the world.

Hospital in decay

These are photo’s of an old 1930’s hospital. It hasn’t been used since the late 60’s and is now in decay.

Analogue

These photo’s were shot using my canonet 28 rangefinder, in combination with some Kodak bw400cn Film. They have a sepia-like warmth to them. I’ve just finished another roll of film, so that’s going to the developer really soon, hopefully there’s some good stuff there.

City transport

I figured roads, infrastructure and public transport would be a nice theme for today’s post. These pictures were taken in Amsterdam and Japan.
